This weekend I hosted my sister’s bridal shower brunch and it was a lot of fun! My sister and her fiance really love traveling so I made the theme of the shower “travel.” I made all the decorations to go with the travel theme!

The invitations (I edited out the “personal” info)
Cupcakes! I made the little cupcake decorations with stickers that look like passport stamps!
Banner with pics of Lorena and her fiance at all the spots they have traveled to.
“The Adventure Begins” banner!
Lorena’s marriage “passport.” People wrote their advice for the bride inside it.
Favor boxes. Favors were necklace charms that were travel themed (Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty etc)!
Vases and candles with maps around them!
Lorena opening her gifts!
Lorena & me! It was a lot of fun and Lorena got some great stuff from everyone! Afterwards we went out to Epcot to drink around the world! More on that soon!
so cute! looks like a great shower, love the theme and all the tie-ins!
How fun! Everything looks great! I love the favor boxes!
So very cool! Would you do my party one day? In the far future 🙂
That is a very cute theme! I love it!
This is so amazing! Thanks so much for posting this, it´s just so inspirational!

Clearly I love the theme here! Congratulations to your sister!
Just stumbled onto your site from, go figure, google. We are throwing my sister a honeymoon bridal luncheon and I love these ideas!
OMG! I loved your decorations and invitations!! I am planning a bridal shower for my sister with the same theme. I was wondering how did you do the invites?
How did you make or where did you get the invitations? I love them!
I was blown away by each little thoughtful and creative detail for this shower starting with the watercolored map invitations from One and Only Paper. When I first opened up the invitation envelope, I was in awe of the large watercolor map of the world that read Love is the Greatest Adventure . I knew then that this shower was going to be one for the books.
