In our house we celebrate many holidays! We are a two-faith marriage so we have a lot of holidays to cover throughout the year! A lot of people ask us about this, especially in how it relates to Carter. Do we celebrate Christmas AND Hanukkah? (yes) Does he get presents for both?! (yes) Will you teach him about both religions? (yes) And on and on. Basically what this means for Carter right now is… lots of fun and presents galore! Considering he is the first grandchild on both sides he is surely going to be one of the most spoiled babies this holiday season.
This week is Hanukkah, which started on Saturday December 8th. Carter gets a present from Nana and Papa every night and we light the candles on our menorah! We also had a Hanukkah dinner with friends, which we do every year. We hope Carter grows up to hold every holiday as special and enjoys them all!
