So when I first moved up to Pennsylvania I came alone with my dog, my husband stayed behind to sell our house and I went ahead to find a job. I was sitting around our apartment trying to figure everything out. I didn’t know where anything was (like the grocery store!*) or how to do things like change my drivers license etc. Also, I didn’t know anybody.
So, I was complaining about all this to my sister (I think) and she asked me why can’t I just all those things up online? To which I replied “you just can’t google everything!” I was a little upset because I had spent hours searching online for information about how to register my car etc and had come up no real good solid information. I remember wishing they gave you some sort of packet like “welcome to this new state and here is some important info you need”!
A few days later I decided to start a blog to record my random happenings in my new state and, remembering my conversation with my sister I knew just what to name it! Though, today it means a little something different to me- today I think of “Can’t Google Everything” as being more about life in general and how not everything in life can be found online! You know, “real life” and such!
So where did your blog name come from? Share your story and link up with Brunch with Amber, Princess of the Panhandle and The Vintage Modern Wife!
*I did end up finding the grocery store! I went to Target and asked a random woman who looked about my age where the grocery store was!
