Today is day 6 of the blogging challenge and the prompt is “Describe your favorite beach.”
Growing up in Florida I have, of course, been to my share of great beaches! I have also been lucky enough to travel to some cool places and different beaches also!
Here are some of my Florida favorites:
Lido Key beach in Sarasota, Florida. The beaches in Sarasota are all really nice and there are few great spots you can get to by boat and are a lot less crowded! Siesta Key beach is one of the nicest beaches in the country and has the most soft and white sand, but unfortunately I don’t have a picture of that one!
This is the beach on Captiva Island in Florida. Captive is really close to Fort Myers, Florida, and is a really great vacation spot for relaxation! There are not a lot of people here so you would be very likely to get a nice stretch of beach to yourself!
This is Deerfield Beach in south-ish Florida. This beach was a little more crowded but I was able to get this nice shot in the late afternoon while we were on a walk!
Last but not least is my favorite beach in Florida, New Smyrna Beach! This beach was our go-to beach growing up and through high school and beyond! It’s a great beach! There are parts you can drive on and park your car right on the beach, or you can go north to the area where they allow dogs and bring your dog with you! And of course you have to stop at the ice-cream place on the way home! This isn’t the prettiest beach in the world and there isn’t a lot to do besides actually just going on the beach, but it’s the one I love the most because I grew up going there!
What’s your favorite beach?
