We have been down in sunny Florida enjoying a break from the snow and cold this Christmas! My parents waited for us to come down to get a tree so we could all go together! Since they live on a really large property, they have some trees they grow that we could go cut down to decorate!
We looked at a bunch of trees to find that perfect one!
My dad cut down the tree and then we pulled out the dead needles. I wanted to get a picture with Carter by the tree but there was tall grass and possible snakes, so I decided that wasn’t the best of ideas! I also wanted to get an action shot of my dad cutting the tree down but Carter was too scared of the saw noise so I had to hold him the whole time!
We only put “non breakable” ornaments on the tree just in case Carter was able to pull it down. This one was my mom’s from when she was growing up! She had an elf before elf on the shelf was even thought of!
Ta-da! My parents tree all decorated! Notice how the bottom branches have nothing on them, just like our tree at home! Toddler friendly Christmas trees!
I hope you’re having a nice Christmas Eve Day and a wonderful Christmas Eve tonight! We will be celebrating with extended family and a big dinner tonight at my parents house, then presents with our immediate family in the morning!
