Last weekend we took Carter to the Please Touch Museum in Philly! The museum is specifically for children and has a ton of different things to do that they can play with and “touch.” Carter loved the museum and I know as he gets older he will find even more things to do and enjoy there!
As soon as we walked in he immediately ran over to the water play area!
I love the bibs they provide so the kids clothes wont get (as) wet! Carter absolutely loved the water play area, we had to drag him away from it! But he hated the hand dryers!
The museum also has several areas for kids under 3 only, which is really nice! They are less crowded than the main areas and the activities are geared towards their level and height!
Carter invents his own way of going down the slide…
Carter really loved the “air” area, because it had several activities involving handles and wheels to turn. In this one you push the handle up and down to create air movement, which moves the feathers around inside the tube. There were 3 of these grouped together and Carter kept running between them doing each one in turn!
Carter and Pop playing in the space shuttle area! They are counting down for liftoff!
In one of the 3 and under areas they had a play house with a kitchen inside (there is a big kid kitchen area in another part of the museum as well). Carter is a big fan of playing “kitchen!”
Overall we thought the Please Touch museum was great and decided to go ahead and buy a membership! We could apply our tickets from that day towards the membership so it was definitely worth it! We’ve already been back once since then and there will be plenty of opportunities to go again over the next year!
What kind of memberships do you have for kids activities?
