Last week I received my second Stitch Fix box! I was very pleased that they listened to me about keeping the prices down and a lot more in my budget this time! This month I received 2 shirts, a pair of pants, a scarf and a dress. Here’ how it went:
#1 Purple dolmen top: I just wasn’t a fan of this one. It was too tight at the bottom and too baggy everywhere else. STATUS: Sent back!
#2: Blue skater dress. I really do not like the look of skater dresses. The way the skirt hangs just isn’t flattering to me. So this dress just wasn’t my style, to say the least! STATUS: sent back!
#3: Grey striped top. I love the look of this top and the material is really comfortable as well! I kept this one and have already worn it! STATUS: kept!
#4: Grey pants. I really wanted to like these pants because I loved the color! However, they were just a little too tight in the wrong places and pulled across the front kind of weird! STATUS: sent back!
#5: Chevron scarf. I almost kept the scarf because I really do like it. But when it comes down to it, I really just do not wear scarves very often, and when I do it’s usually my super warm knit ones in the winter! STATUS: sent back!
I am willing to keep trying Stitch Fix because it is fun, but I am hoping to get a little more variety in my boxes. I feel like all of my items have been kind of basic, which is my style usually, but I had hoped to get more “fun” and different kind of styles to try! I also hope to maybe get some cute skirts and more “sexy” tops in the future!
In case you were wondering how it works, when you sign up you fill out a style profile and answer questions about your
style, needs and price points. Then you get a special box with 5 items
chosen specifically for you based on your answers. You pay for only
the items you want to keep after checking them out and send back the
ones you don’t want in a prepaid package!

And…. just for fun I put together some of my “blooper” photos!

I actually Love that purple top. It takes the right body for it to work though- which is probably a few sizes larger than you are lol. Where I am now, it gives some flowy movedment (aka hides) my midsection, but the bottom creates the illusion that it fits.

Shame you didn't keep that dress! It looks really pretty on you! Great color, too! But comfort is definitely key when it comes to personal style.
Love the outtakes! I tried to do a StitchFix post but looked ridiculous in the photos so gave up. Maybe next box!
The grey striped top really is great! Plus, I love your outtakes 🙂
So fun! I need to get in on the stich fix situation…in about 10 more lbs. haha!
I actually liked the first top a lot, it's just a totally different silhouette. But the stripey top is great, too! Glad you're having fun with that service!
Love the gray striped top. What a fun service! May have to take a look into.
I've been wanting to try Stitch Fix but I have such a strange body type, I've been hesitant. It would be fun to get clothes in the mail to try on, with the hope that something will fit. Thanks for showcasing this concept, I might give it a try!
I would have kept all of it but the grey pants and the purple top. I loved the scarf. I keep wanting to try stich fix but I never do.
Stitch Fix looks like so much fun! I love the purple top, but then it's totally my style. After this baby pops out and once I get back to close to pre-baby size, I think I'll give it a try.
I love the dress! It's super cute and I think flatters you really well. But I am a skater skirt kind of girl. And a dress kind of girl. Love what you kept!
I really like that blue dress on you. I also really like the striped top that you kept, but I am a stripe-aholic! I can't wait to get my box next week. Love the blooper photos! LOL!
