Last week I received my second Stitch Fix box! I was very pleased that they listened to me about keeping the prices down and a lot more in my budget this time! This month I received 2 shirts, a pair of pants, a scarf and a dress. Here’ how it went:
#1 Purple dolmen top: I just wasn’t a fan of this one. It was too tight at the bottom and too baggy everywhere else. STATUS: Sent back!
#2: Blue skater dress. I really do not like the look of skater dresses. The way the skirt hangs just isn’t flattering to me. So this dress just wasn’t my style, to say the least! STATUS: sent back!
#3: Grey striped top. I love the look of this top and the material is really comfortable as well! I kept this one and have already worn it! STATUS: kept!
#4: Grey pants. I really wanted to like these pants because I loved the color! However, they were just a little too tight in the wrong places and pulled across the front kind of weird! STATUS: sent back!
#5: Chevron scarf. I almost kept the scarf because I really do like it. But when it comes down to it, I really just do not wear scarves very often, and when I do it’s usually my super warm knit ones in the winter! STATUS: sent back!
I am willing to keep trying Stitch Fix because it is fun, but I am hoping to get a little more variety in my boxes. I feel like all of my items have been kind of basic, which is my style usually, but I had hoped to get more “fun” and different kind of styles to try! I also hope to maybe get some cute skirts and more “sexy” tops in the future!
In case you were wondering how it works, when you sign up you fill out a style profile and answer questions about your
style, needs and price points. Then you get a special box with 5 items
chosen specifically for you based on your answers. You pay for only
the items you want to keep after checking them out and send back the
ones you don’t want in a prepaid package!

And…. just for fun I put together some of my “blooper” photos!
