Besides the Yards Brewery Tour, another fun thing we did for my husband’s birthday was the Simeone Museum! The museum is in South Philly, very far south of the city and is basically a huge warehouse building with tons of cars. All the cars are of historic value or have been part of some kind of race, from Italian street racing to the beginnings of Nascar.

The guys in the history of racing room.
Carter loved holding the camera and trying to take pictures of the cars!
The weekend we were there they had a special demonstration of Alfa Romeo’s outside! Dr. Simeone himself talked about the cars and then the museum curator drove them around the lot to show them off!
During the demonstration Carter and I snuck back inside to get a few more pictures without all the people in the way! This is a line of various European racing cars (on the right).
The Simeone Museum is definitely a place any car lover should visit!
