Earlier this summer Carter and I attended the Playskool Playdate event in Philadelphia. We tested out some of their new toys that are debuting this fall and Carter had a blast! He marched right into the room, took it all in and ran strait over to the Sesame Street area.
One of Carter’s favorites was the Sesame Street Let’s Rock! Elmo Guitar. In fact, he kept coming back to this one between playing with the other toys- maybe I’ll have to let Santa know how much he loved this one! He also loved the Big Hugs Elmo. One new toy I thought was really cool was the Let’s Imagine Elmo Toy. It comes with different hats you can click in and with each hat Elmo says different things!
We took a short play break for a little photo shoot!
Carter also really loved the Poppin Park Elefun Busy Ball Popper. He laughed with delight every time one of the balls popped up, and he also enjoyed sticking his face over it so the air would blow on him!
They had a build your own hero potato head station, which as you can see, Carter took very seriously!
And of course he enjoyed zooming around the room on the Rock Ride and Stide Hippo! This toy can also be changed into a push toy for early walkers or a stationary rocker.
Carter loved the fries and grilled cheese as well as all the toys, and was intrigued by the man making the balloon animals! Carter got a balloon Elmo- his favorite! We had a lot of fun at the event and even received a fun goody bag with more toys to try out at home! Carter still loves his ABC Elmo toy but I am holding off giving him the other ones to spread it out over the fall.
Check out all of the Playskool toys on their website!
