I was sent primer, a concealer/brightener trio, foundation powder, bronzer and mascara.
The mascara was a three step process. Step one, apply mascara. Step two, apply the lengthening fibers. This part was really cool. The wand basically had these little fibers on it like a fuzzy caterpillar. When I applied it they stuck to the end of my lashes as you can see in the top right picture. Then, you add a last coat of mascara which clings to the fibers and makes you lashes extra long! This was one of the best lengthening products I’ve used for mascara- it really worked well! Any product that gives extra long lashes without the hassle of applying false lashes is a win in my book!
Here is the completed look! The lighting in my bathroom isn’t the best, but I could tell in the mirror that the makeup worked really well and the color was spot on! It feels light and doesn’t have a chemically smell that so many makeups have. Actually, the primer base smelled pretty good!
I would definitely use SheerCover makeup again, especially for a date night or going to a wedding or big event! Would I recommend it to you? Of course!
Just for fun I wanted to share a zoomed in photo of the lash extending fibers! When I first opened this I thought they had accidentally sent me an empty tube of mascara! I quickly realized what is was, of course, but isn’t it just the coolest thing? I admit, I was nervous to put it on because I thought the fibers would fall into my eyes, but they went on exactly how the should have an stayed in place!
Have you tried SheerCover makeup? Let me know what you think and if you try it out for yourself!
