I made these ghost s’mores as a cute Halloween themed treat for our Girls-Night-In last week and they were a hit! They are so easy to make as a last minute Halloween treat and more sweet than scary! Perfect for a kids Halloween party, Halloween night dessert or just for anyone who enjoys s’mores!
How to make ghost s’mores
Ghost s’mores, much like their traditional counterparts, consist of three fundamental components: graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. However, it’s the presentation that set these treats apart! These spectral treats put a whimsical twist on the classic s’mores, infusing them with an air of mystery and fun that captures the essence of Halloween.
Ghost S’mores Recipe
Ghost S'mores
A sweet and spooky treat!
Ingredients
- 10 Graham crackers, broken in half
- 1 jar marshmallow fluff
- 20 marshmallows (regular size, not mini)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cream
- Edible food markers
Instructions
Make the ganache:
In the top of a double boiler combine the chocolate chips and cream. Add a small dash of vanilla if the mood strikes you. Stir until chips are fully melted and combined. Funnel the ganache into a squeeze bottle and allow it to cool a little bit.
Organize the rest of the ingredients:
While the ganache cools a little, set out your graham crackers on a piece of wax paper or parchment paper.
Draw the ghost faces on your marshmallows with the edible markers.
Assemble the ghosts:
In a pattern of your choice, drizzle the chocolate ganache onto your graham crackers.
Dot a spoonful of marshmallow fluff onto each. Then add the ghost, pressing gently into the fluff so it sticks.
Serve immediately or keep covered for a few days.
Just keep in mind that if you don't serve soon the ghost might tip over a little as they settle further into the marshmallow fluff!
