With the new year and my 52 weeks challenge, I have really been inspired to actually get into the gym and work out. In the past I have been known to be extra lazy about my gym going, but I am dedicated to this change now!
My goal right now is to hit the gym 3 times per week. Twice during the week and once on the weekend! I’ve been doing ok so far, but I know I can do better. I really enjoying doing some of the classes my gym offers and it helps that they have child care! The only issue is that one of the classes I like doing is at 4:30, so sometimes my son isn’t awake from his nap in time to make it!
So, my ideal schedule looks like this:
- Tuesday: Muscle Blast 4:30 – 5:30 OR Power Yoga 7:30 – 8:30
- Thursday: Booty Blast 9:00 – 9:30 plus arms/abs on my own OR Power Yoga 6:45 – 7:45
- Saturday: Muscle Blast 9:15 – 10:15
If I don’t make those classes, or I go on a different day, I go and do 30 min on the elliptical machine and then head over to do weights.
My goal past this is to start incorporating daily movements at home, which I’ll talk about in another post!
