If you’re looking for an fun and easy activity to do with your kids this Easter you’ve come to the right spot! Last week we painted these glow in the dark Easter eggs and Carter loved it! I didn’t tell him ahead of time that they glowed, we just painted our eggs and set them out to dry. When it was dark I went and grabbed the black light and the eggs and showed him the surprise!
All you need for this craft is:
- Styrofoam or other craft eggs- I found ours for $1.99 at the craft store and they are “dye-able craft eggs”
- NEON paint, non toxic is best
- a black light
Painting is serious business!
All you need is a black light to make these eggs glow! A bonus for this craft is that you can use the eggs for decoration when you aren’t looking at them under the black light! Just pile them into a nice bowl or basket to show off your kids artwork and decorate for Easter!
What’s your easy way to decorate Easter eggs this year?
