I’d love to get more into sharing outfits and linking up with some of my favorite fashion bloggers on their weekly fashion posts. The issue? My fashion has become kind of boring and predictable lately. I can blame winter, or being a stay at home mom, but mostly I just throw on the same thing everyday- jeans and a tee of some kind with a sweater and call it a day! This spring I’m hoping to push the envelope a little more with fashion and try out some new pieces that I wouldn’t have previously worn. I’m also hoping to break out of my rut, so I came up with this project- the No Jeans Week!
I want to invite everyone to join me for No Jeans Week, too! I will be taking a photo each day of my outfits and then posting about it after the week is over to reflect!
No jeans week isn’t necessarily about wearing jeans as much as it is about breaking out of your fashion rut. So if you are a daily yoga pants wearer, this challenge is also for you! Try something new out for a week! The only guideline I am going to follow is no blue jeans and no jean shorts. I am allowing myself white or colored jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses. I am also going to try to plan out my outfits the week before so I am ready every day with a non-jean outfit!
There are no hard and fast “rules” to this challenge, so I hope you’ll join me if you want to get out of your fashion rut as well! Challenge yourself to a week of no jeans, no yoga pants or whatever works for your lifestyle!
