Today I’m sharing a super easy and delicious appetizer using RITZ® crackers!  Before I get to the recipe I want to let you know that there is a fun contest going on using RITZ®!  You can enter for a chance to win one of forty $100 Walmart e-Gift Cards (10 per week) by uploading an Instagram photo of your RITZ®-topped creation with #putitonaritzcontest.  Purchase of RITZ® is not required.

RITZ® crackers are the kind of crackers we always have on hand around my house!  Everyone loves them and they are delicious to eat plain or topped with peanut butter, cheese or even a little lunch meat!  It’s so easy to just throw a sleeve of crackers in my purse to make sure my son has a snack while we’re out running errands, too! One of my favorite cheeses is brie, so I though it would be delicious to combine the two for an easy appetizer!

RITZ® and Brie Appetizer Recipe

You will need:

  • RITZ® crackers– regular, hint of salt, reduced fat or whole wheat flavors would work nice! (I used half regular and half hint of salt and they were both good!)
  • Brie cheese
  • raspberry preserves

What to do:

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Spread out the RITZ® crackers on a baking sheet.  Slice the brie and cut into cracker size pieces.  I cut the triangle off first, ate it, and then sliced the rest!
  • Bake for about 6 to 8 minutes.  You want to cheese to get soft and creamy.  Do not over bake or the crackers will burn!
  • Remove from oven and top each cracker with a small dollop of raspberry preserves.

Enjoy!

Since these ingredients are so easy to keep on hand, this appetizer is perfect for when friends drop by unexpectedly!  It’s also great for a little after work happy hour, pre-dinner apps or even just an afternoon snack!

I found RITZ® crackers in the cracker aisle at Walmart, and you can see just how many varieties they have!  I think next time I will grab the roasted vegetable flavor and RITZ® bitz peanut butter are always one of my favorites!

I’d love to hear from you- what’s your favorite way to top your RITZ®?  Comment below and be sure to enter the contest at the top of this post!

I love Brie. It is one of my Top 5 favorite cheeses. I wait for it to go on sale though. My Kroger often marks it down half price.
