It wasn’t until around this time last year that I learned this quick and easy trick for cooking an egg in the microwave! My in laws were visiting and my father in law showed me this fun trick. This method allows you to cook an egg without the fuss and makes a nice and fluffy scrambled egg. You can also add other ingredients such as onion, peppers or other veggies for a quick omelet!
All you need is an egg, cooking spray and a mug!
Step 1: Generously spray the mug with your cooking spray of choice.
Step 2: Crack the egg in the mug. Be sure to pop the yolk so it cooks thoroughly. You don’t have to scramble it, but you do have to pop the yolk so it cooks. I like to scramble mine around with a little bit of salt and pepper.
Step 3: Microwave the egg for 1 minute. It will puff up and may even get to the top of your mug, don’t worry!
The egg will slide right out of your mug in a round shape! This is a great method for making eggs for sandwiches, you can make them the perfect size for your English muffin or bagel!

Love this trick! What a quick and easy way to have breakfast ready! I guess there is no more excuses to leave the house with no breakfast!
I thought I was the only one who did this! I also make my bacon in the mircowave. I put papertowels on a plate and then lay the bacon on top. It wicks away most of the grease!
I used to do this all the time! It is so fun!
You are so brave!! I've always wanted to do this, but for whatever reason I have just always hesitated! I may just have to try it now! *fingers crossed*
