This week’s mini chef recipe is short and very sweet! This recipe is extra special because it was all Carter’s idea- he really wanted to make a pizza with candy and that’s what we set out to do. There are so many ways you could make candy pizza, but I wanted to try to see if we could make it look like “real” pizza and I think the toppings we went with do just that!
Carter’s Candy Pizza
You will need:
- 1 pie crust
- nutella or similar spread
- white chocolate bar (place in freezer before using for best results)
- sour gummy candy strips
Cut the candy into various shapes to look like pizza toppings. We made red circles to look like pepperoni, green slices for the peppers and yellow triangles for onions! Spread the pie crust out flat on a baking sheet (remove from pie tin if it comes in one). Spread nutella over the crust to look like pizza “sauce.” Use a cheese grater to grate the white chocolate and then add the cut up candy. Add more chocolate “cheese” over the top if you want. Bake in preheated oven following the pie crust directions.
Serve and enjoy!
Have you ever made a dessert pizza or candy pizza? What toppings would you use for the candy? Check out our short video below with the full instructions!
