This month I am joining in again with PJ for his Photo Blogging Challenge. Every month I have intentions of participating and every month it seems to slips my mind. But, the August theme was black and white and I thought this would be an easy way to share some photos from our travels to Florida this month! So, I took some of my favorites and made them black and white!
Carter absolutely loves traveling and going on airplanes and to the airport. He really enjoys watching the planes and flying on the plane and getting drinks from the drink cart. As soon as he knows we are going on a trip he starts asking all the time if it’s time to go to the airplane, so I try not to tell him too far in advance when we go out of town!
In Florida we first went to my in-laws house and were able to enjoy several days on the beach and on the boat! We had fun playing in the sand, running from waves and catching crabs and sea snails!
Lately Carter has loved all things science, so my parents got him a science kit for his birthday. His favorite “experiment” is the volcano you put baking soda and vinegar in to make the volcano “erupt!”
For some time now, Carter has been talking (and talking) about going fishing. I think he saw it on Hobby Kids or something because we haven’t really talking much about fishing but he was really excited about going! So we took him to the lake at my aunt and uncles house and he got to catch a bunch of small brim, which was super exciting for him! (and yes, I added some color to this photo to make the fish stand out!)
Last but not least, what visit to Central Florida would be complete without a day at Disney? This isn’t your typical Disney picture, it’s in the bathroom. But, I just love the pure excitement and happiness in this picture! He was looking in the mirror and yelling “yah, we’re at Disney!!!”
So, there are my five photos for this month’s Photo Blogging Challenge and some fun snippets of what we were up to this month! For more on the challenge and to see the other participants photos, head over to PJ’s Blog for the link up!
