We have just a week until the final season of Game of Thrones starts and I don’t know about you but I am super excited! To celebrate the upcoming season I made these yummy “fire and ice” jello shots. I wanted to make a fun shot for the show so I thought what better way then to honor the main theme of the series!
I went with basic red jello shots for the fire and super easy to make blue “ice” jello for the ice part of the shot. To make it way more fun, the blue part is actually ice. I love the way they turned out looking like deep blue hunks of ice! Who knows, maybe they are actually little pieces of the Wall?
Make these ahead of time to enjoy while you binge watch to catch up! Or make them for your watch party for the series finale! You can also make them without alcohol for the kids or for those who don’t drink! Either way, these easy shots are a fun way to celebrate the last season.
Fire and ice combine to make a delicious jello shot! -When the jello freezes its takes on a slightly different consistency, it will not be as smooth as the red jello. -When you first remove it from the freezer the blue will be more of an electric blue. If you leave it overnight in the shots, the blue will get darker and have different shades as shown in the pictures in this post! It's your choice how to serve them! -These shots tend to be on the strong side! You cane make them a little weaker by making the blue with just water. It will freeze better this way as well.
