I’ve been wanting to make sangria jello shots for awhile now. So, I whipped up a batch with some fun fall flavors and they turned out delicious! I’m so excited to share these with you guys because they were seriously so good! I added a little cinnamon to the mix to give it a nice fall spice and it really put the flavor over the top. I actually made several varieties of sangria jello shots so this is the “fall” shot.
These shots are made with cranberry flavored jello, which can be a little hard to find. I bought it on amazon in a 6 pack. Sometimes you can find it at the store, especially around the holidays. They also sell it at Wal-Mart sometimes in store and online. I’ll link to it in the recipe below so you can stock up! Cranberry jello can be used for several fall and winter recipes and I’ll be sharing more shot recipes using this flavor, too! If you see it at your store be sure to stock up!
For the sangria I used pre-made bottled sangria from the liquor store. I don’t really have a favorite brand for this so I don’t have to recommend! Just grab a bottle of your favorite (or the cheapest!) to make this recipe. You won’t need the whole bottle unless you make several batches of shots so you’ll have a little extra to drink when you make this!
I also put fresh fruit in my sangria shots to make it more like actual sangria. Real sangria has fruit in it so it’s only natural that the jello shot version should, too! Because there’s fresh fruit in them, it’s best to serve them within a few days so the fruit doesn’t start to go bad.
Cranberry, apple and cinnamon combine to make this festive autumn themed shot! If you really wanted to put this over the top, try soaking the apple cubes in alcohol first! You could try cinnamon schnapps for extra spice or cranberry vodka. As an Amazon Associate and member of other affiliate programs, I earn from qualifying purchases.Cranberry Apple Sangria Jello Shots
