These Jello shots are made with champagne and are perfect for New Years Eve or your next fun party!
It’s almost time to bring on the new year! Jello Shots are a staple for any party and especially for a fun bash like New Years Eve! Whether your party is big or small you can always enjoy some champagne jello shots! These shots are inspired by my favorite Champagne Cocktail. I love a champagne cocktail with Chambord! For this shot though, I used raspberry Jello for the Chambord and I love the way the layers came out!
When making layered shots be sure to let the first layer fully set before you add the second layer or they will just melt together. These shots use Knox gelatin for the champagne layer. For the Knox layer make sure to let the gelatin bloom before mixing it all together so that it will set properly. To bloom, sprinkle the gelatin all over the cold liquid. Make sure all the gelatin powder is touching liquid so it has a chance to absorb and bloom properly. Then, let it sit for a few minutes before mixing in the hot liquid. For this shot the gelatin will look very funny when it’s blooming because it’s reacting with the champagne, but that’s okay! It will all work out in the end and look fine when you mix it together!
To make these shots non-alcoholic use sparkling grape juice instead of champagne and sub water for the vodka. As an Amazon Associate and member of other affiliate programs, I earn from qualifying purchases.
