I can’t believe it’s already 20 weeks! 20 down and 20 to go! Ooooooh we’re halfway there! Today we go in for our 20 weeks ultra sound which is the anatomy scan where they measure all the parts of the baby! And hopefully we will also find out the sex! I can’t wait!
Here is my picture today! Sorry it’s a little blurry but I just didn’t want to keep standing there taking pictures. This week baby will get to be the size of a cantaloupe, or the length of a banana! And it will weigh about 8-10 ounces. I am definitely starting to get bigger and have a little bit of a bump!
Since we are (hopefully) finding out today I thought I would look up some gender prediction test and see how I do!
Carrying high= girl, Carrying low= boy: my bump is still really small so it’s kind of hard to tell. If I had to choose I think I would say it’s still pretty low though so that’s boy!
Baby’s heartbeat over 140 = girl, under 140 =boy: every time I’ve gone to the doctor the heartbeat has been over 140 so that’s girl!
Craving sweets = girl, craving salty/sour = boy: definitely craving sweets, fruit, ice cream, chocolate etc so that’s one more for girl!
Lots of morning sickness= girl, little or no sickness = boy: I felt nauseous a lot during the first trimester but I never actually got sick! So I guess it’s boy for this one!
Chinese gender prediction chart = girl
Mayan gender prediction (evens and odds) = girl
Dry hands = boy, soft hands = girl: so for this one boy!
So far that’s 3 for boy and 4 for girl!!! What do you think? What other “wives tales” have you heard about gender prediction?
