This week when I was at Walmart I saw a new product in the condiments aisle- New Heinz® Yellow Mustard! I thought it would be perfect to go with our “make your own wraps” dinner so I grabbed a bottle to give it a try. A make your own wraps bar is the perfect dinner for having friends over on a weeknight! Each person can fill their wraps however they want, load up on the toppings and add some condiments, such as Heinz Yellow Mustard, to make it extra yummy!
- Whole wheat wraps
- deli meat slices- we used turkey and buffalo chicken
- deli sliced cheese- we used provolone
- 1 sliced avocado
- 1-2 thinly sliced tomatoes
- fresh spinach
- Heinz Yellow Mustard
- other toppings of choice- sprouts would be awesome on this as well!
Let each person create their own wraps at the wrap bar, adding whatever toppings they want! This is great for dinner for your family or for having a group of friends over- each person gets exactly what they want with less work for you, the host!
Here’s mine! Be sure to fold your wraps “burrito style” so they won’t fall apart when you grill them!
We planned to grill our wraps, but the weather disagreed so we ended up grilling them inside on the grill pan! Ideally, we would have grilled our wraps outside and then enjoyed them on a nice spring night! We had fries with our wraps, and of course Heinz ketchup, too!
During dinner we were all commenting on how amazing the wraps were and what a good taste the mustard added! One thing I really noticed about the Heinz Yellow Mustard is the upside-down bottle which is great for avoiding getting that watery mustard in your first squirt! The mustard is nice and thick, too, so it didn’t make our wraps all soggy.
