This summer Alex’s Lemonade Stand will once again have their big Lemonade Days” event in June! Lemonade Days is a nation wide event where people can host their own lemonade stand to help raise money for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, and you can, too! It’s not too late to sign up for Lemonade Days, if you sign up by June 5th they will also send you a lemonade stand kit in the mail!
Alex’s Lemonade was founded by Alex, a 4-year old girl who had cancer and dreamed of a world without it. She set up her own lemonade stands and donated all the money she raised to the hospital to help other children with cancer, and today’s foundation does the same! Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is dedicated to fighting childhood cancer through supporting childhood cancer research and families affected by childhood cancers. This year I will once again be hosting a lemonade stand for Alex’s Lemonade and you can, too! My stand will take place June 6th in correlation with my town’s annual car show. Last year we raised just over $200 and this year I hope to meet and surpass my goal of $250!
If you want to help out but can’t host your own stand this year, please consider donating virtually to my stand! Any amount is very helpful and much appreciated!
