If you’ve ever been to Costa Rica, or a similar place, you will know all about the people on the beach who try to sell you stuff. One such guy, who successfully sold us our fishing tour, also tried to sell us pizza. He offered to take our order up to the pizza shop and bring our pizza back to us so we wouldn’t lose our spot on the beach. My friend (a true New Jersian) asked “What kind of pizza is it? Chicago style or New York style?” The local’s reply? “Na man, it’s Italian!”
Costa Rica is really beautiful and I got some great pictures! Here are some of my favorites:
Hubs and friend in the Pacific Ocean. The waves and current were really strong so I didn’t go in very far! I prefer keeping my bikini top, thank you very much!
Me and hubs at the “dock.” To get on the fishing boats you just wade out into the bay to your boat, then they pick you up and take you to the bigger boat.
Look closely and you can see the zip lining wire! I was soooo scared! I kept telling myself “don’t be a chicken, don’t be a chicken” and I just went for it!
My husband in the hot springs! The hot springs were soooo beautiful! It’s the perfect setting, right in the rain forest and super relaxing!
Arenol Volcano. I love this shot because this was one of the rare moments when smoke is actually coming out of the top of the volcano!Thanks for checking out my vacation photos! Costa Rica was really fun and relaxing! I also got to go to the spa, which was a 5 star spa, for my birthday, while hubs went white water rafting. I got a mud wrap and facial with volcanic mud!
