Last Friday Carter turned 9 months old! What a cutie! This picture was the day before his fever started so he was still very happy this part of the weekend!
At 9 months…
Carter weighs just over 18 pounds and is getting taller! He has bumped up to the 50th percentile for his height! I guess he is destined to be tall and skinny? Maybe he will be an Olympic swimmer or something…
He is crawling like a maniac and pulling himself up to standing on all the furniture and even tries to push up on other things, too (like the dog, shoes, mommy etc)! A few times he has even stood there without holding on to anything!
I taught Carter how to play peek-a-boo and he loves it! Now he even does it on his own and pulls the blanket up over his head, waits, and then pulls it off with a big smile! It’s the cutest thing ever!
Carter can also give high fives to daddy!
Carter is into 6 and 9 months clothes, although the 9 months sizes are still a little big on him, but basically fit perfectly! We just started size 3 diapers, too! He can eat all sorts of food now but he still mostly likes his bottles and his crunchies (baby puffs). He has 2 teeth and the top ones are on their way!
