I recently received the J’Adore VoxBox full of fun products to try out! I’m pretty sure everyone receives the same items in their boxes, but just in case here is what I got:
A giant bag of Hershey’s Kisses, KISS Looks so natural lashes, Red Rose Simply Indulgent Teas, Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask and Frizz Ease 3-Day Strait spray.
Here’s what I thought:
Well first of all, who doesn’t love Hershey’s kisses? I kind of wondered why they put this in the box since it is such a big brand that most people have heard of! I used my kisses to make a present for my husband when he was traveling! A kiss for every day he was away, plus some extras!
I don’t like tea, but I kept the samples in case someone visiting wanted it! As it turns out, my mom wanted some tea when she was visiting a few weeks ago, so it worked out nicely. She said the tea was good and she liked it.
The Frizz Ease spray was actually the first thing in the box that I tried out. The spray was nice and worked just as well as the other brand of spray I normally use, although maybe made my hair a little more greasy than the other spray. I don’t use a flat iron so I just used the spray when I blow dried my hair. I figured it works about the same since the point of the spray is to protect your hair from heat!

Last was the Boots Botanics mask. The mask was very thin when I first opened it, so I put the lid back on and shook it and then it came out thicker. The mask dried quickly and came off really easy. My face felt smooth and clean afterwards, too! But, later in the day I noticed my face felt really dry, which isn’t normal for me, so I think the mask did dry out my skin a little bit.
Overall the J’Adore voxbox had some pretty good stuff! I still have a tone of Hershey’s kisses left in the cabinet to snack on! I am also looking forward to trying out the mask again when the weather turns a little more hot and humid. I think it will work better on my skin when it’s not so dry!
