Last Friday was the first Friday of the month and we decided to head into the Philly for the aptly named “First Friday” event. First Friday is a giant art show in the Old City section of Philadelphia, which takes place on the first Friday every month (except in the winter, I believe). The shops open their doors, serve wine and finger foods and display local artists on their walls! There is also quite a few artists to be found on the sidewalks!

When we left we decided to cut through this ally to avoid the crowds between us and the car! Carter stopped to hug several of these poles!
Balancing on the cobblestones!
So, way back in my early days of blogging I had another blog called Scenes
from Philadelphia! I decided to retire that blog when I moved to the
suburbs, because it was no longer viable to keep up with daily photos
from a city I didn’t live in! However, we still do stuff in Philly from
time to time, and I loved the title Scenes from Philadelphia, so I am
going to try to keep up my “scenes” through this blog with some city
photos!
