I love making dinner in the crock pot on those days when I know I just won’t feel like making dinner later! I was craving Italian chicken the other day so I came up with this easy and delicious recipe. It’s perfect for two (plus a toddler), but you could double it to make enough for 4 or 5 people.
Crock Pot Italian Chicken Recipe:
You will need:
- 2 chicken breast
- 1 can of chicken broth (I use low sodium)
- 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning
- an onion, cut up into quarters or smaller if preferred
- optional: carrots or celery
Add everything to your crock pot and give it a stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.
Serve with rice pilaf and/or vegetables.
Enjoy!

Oh goodness does that look delish! I'm going to have to try this out since I'm a huge crock pot fan, especially in the summer when it gets wicked hot in the kitchen and I don't feel like cooking over the stove! 😀
Looks good and super easy!
This is silly, but a can being 8oz? I've a carton and not a can, so a can doesn't sound like much in my head I guess 🙂
I love dinner from the crock pot. I am going to have to try this recipe. Thanks!
