These pineapple jello shots are easy enough to make and taste delicious! We also checked out some jello shot syringes for this recipe, courtesy of Surf City Supplies to review!
Pineapple is a bright, fun flavor for a summer cocktail, don’t you think? I called this shot Pineapple Punch, because there’s a mix of a few flavors in there with a few different alcohols. The punch is a great tropical flavor. These are perfect for your summer parties, beach themed party or anyone who’s just a fan of pineapple!
To make these shots I used jello shot syringes from Surf City Supplies! They sent me a pack to review and I was not disappointed! The syringes are a great way to serve jello shots at a party. They are also easy to transport since they come with caps for the tips! They also include extra caps just in case you lose some. I washed them with warm, soapy water by taking them apart to wash them.
The syringes can hold 2 ounce jello shots, which is the normal size I make as well. The only downside was that they took up more room in my fridge than the 2 ounce cups I usually use. But, they are much more fun for a party so it’s worth it! It’s also nice that you can take the shots without getting your hands all messy. Normally you have to loosen jello shots from the cups and the easiest way to do this is with your finger. With the syringes you just squirt it into your mouth! I can see this being really useful in situations where you don’t want to use your hands such as at the beach!
Tips for Using Jello Shot Syringes
- When you make the shots, be sure to put the caps on tight before putting them in the fridge!
- After you suck the shot mixture into the syringe, hold it upright and carefully push the air out of the top (like doctors do when they give shots). This way you don’t get big air bubbles in your shots.
- Take the shots out of the fridge a few minutes before you want to serve them so they can come up closer to room temperature. This makes the syringe easier to push to get the jello out.
- Wash in warm soapy water inside and out and let air dry.
