I woke up on Sunday and my husband gave me a happy Mother’s Day card & gift! I was very surprised, because even though I knew we were going to go to brunch, I didn’t expect to get a present, too! It’s my first Mother’s Day! Even though I am only a mom-to-be, I guess my husband figured that’s good enough for brunch! Also, I love brunch, so win-win!
We went to a French créperie in Philly and it was soooo good! It was in our old neighborhood, literally 2 blocks from our old house where we lived for over 2 years and we had never gone to this place. Well, man, we were missing out! It was amazing! I had the sweet crépe with apples, brown sugar and caramel. It was like heaven. I told my husband we should eat there every day forever.
Love the little cow milk guy! My crépe is the one in the top picture- so yummy! My husband was getting annoyed with me taking all these pictures but I couldn’t help it! He got a “savory” crépe with ham, cheese and egg. So, if you ever find yourself in Philadelphia you should definitely go to Créperie BeuMonde on 6th and Bainbridge! Pretty sure I will be taking my visiters here for years to come!
Mother’s Day brunch sounds like a good tradition in the making!
