On Saturday Carter turned 3 months old!
What a cutie pie!
3 months stats:
Weight: He is around 12 pounds now! When he had his check up he was at about 11 and half and that was over 3 weeks ago so I’m sure he is up to 12 by now. I weigh him at home but I’m not sure how accurate it is!
Looks Like: I think it’s hard to tell and he looks a little bit like each of us, but everyone keeps saying he looks a lot more like me! I guess only time will tell!
Pacifier: Yes he loves the pacifier! We don’t give it to him at night but sometimes during the day we do. I know there are such mixed opinions on this but for now we’re going to keep using it if he wants it!
Sleeping: Sleeping is pretty good! He is sleeping overnight now! Usually goes to bed around 9:30 and wake up sometime between 6:00 and 7:00 usually closer to 7:00! One time I even had to wake him up to go to daycare! He was not excited about that!
Clothing: He is growing out of all his newborn sized clothes and is well into his 3 month size clothes! Some of those are even starting to get tight because they are “0-3 months” sized!
Diapers: We use pampers and huggies. A mix of both. At this point it doesn’t really matter to me which brand, I just go for the one with coupons or the best price at the store I’m at!
Adventures: Carter is still quite the adventurer! We take him all sorts of places from restaurants to the flea market to hiking! He doesn’t seem to mind being in the baby bjorn carrier so we have been able to walk around with him in that a lot of places! He even came with us to a sports bar to watch the Gator game a few weeks ago!
Fun Facts: Carter started smiling! He loves it when we blow raspberries on his tummy and when we sing to him! He also smiled at some stuffed animals I was making dance and talk for him! He can hold his head steady and sit up on the couch without toppling over! He also “found” his hands and love putting them in his mouth!
Looking Ahead: Whats next? I’m not sure! Maybe starting to push up more and “pre-crawling”? He is making a lot of noises so I think soon he will start babbling more, too!
