I took this picture the other morning after a particularly long night in which Carter kept waking up every 2 hours or so by rolling himself over and getting stuck. Finally, around 4:15 I took him into my bed (daddy was out of town) and he actually fell back asleep! We slept until about 7:30 which is major sleeping in for us! When he woke up he looked right at me and had the biggest smile on his face! I was already awake and looking at my phone so I was able to snap this cute picture!
Here are some fun facts about Carter this month!
Likes: singing and music, standing (with our help), wiggling and rolling over, silly faces, blowing raspberries, “talking” to us, looking around at everything, putting everything in his mouth, chewing on his teething rings/giraffe teether, trying to grab our food and cups and grabbing our hair and faces!
Dislikes: not being able to look around, being in his play saucer for too long, rice cereal, random times of the day when he just starts crying- oh wait that’s one of my dislikes!
Eating: Carter has about 5 bottles per day and once or twice he’ll have baby food. He’s had all the step 1 food flavors except for prunes! I just can’t bring myself to buy it….I guess I’m nervous about what the results will be?
Sleeping: His sleeping is really unpredictable. He was sleeping through the night, and then on random nights he will wake up. The past 2 nights he woke up many times. He also isn’t the best at napping. He will nap sporadically throughout the day but only 20-30 minutes per nap!
Weight: We go to the doctor today so we will get a correct weight then! If I had to guess I’d say something around 16 pounds?
Clothing: He is wearing some 6 months clothes now, but can still fit into a lot of his 3-6 months clothes. By a lot I mean all. Although on a few of them the head hole is getting too small and on several of his shirts the arms are too short!
Adventures: Carter loves going places and we started putting him in the forward facing part of the stroller so he could look around! He loves looking at all the people in the mall, at restaurants and Target. He also got to go to Brooklyn with me to visit my sister!
