It’s the last day of the month! I posted almost every day this month and I am happy about it because I posted for me, because I wanted to and not because I felt like I had to! But, I realized I missed a lot of things I wanted to share because I just ran out of time!
For example….
Two weekends ago we went with some friends to a crab restaurant and we all got bibs will random sayings on them. Also, my friend took my picture and apparently my arm disappeared somehow in the process!
On Valentine’s Day we got a babysitter and went out to dinner! We had really good sushi and cocktails at this great restaurant called Nectar. The only disappointing thing was that they were super busy and had pushed a bunch of tables really close together to pack in all the couples for Valentine’s Day. It was in no way intimate and the tables were very small! But the food there is really good, so I’d still go back on a “normal” day, but never again for Valentine’s Day!
Carter is getting his first tooth! This has disrupted our sleep schedule more than a bit and created quite a little drool monster! The tooth is almost out though, we can see (and feel) the top of it coming through!
Last weekend we went to an indoor flea market in Philly and purchased these two little gems! My husband loves going to flea markets to look around and who knows what you’re going to find? We are going to hang the Sinclair gasoline sign up in Carter’s room since it’s a car theme!
Carter has discovered that there is a shelf under the coffee table and that he can grab things off of it! He can’t quite crawl yet so we aren’t in any real danger, but it looks like very soon we are going to have some major baby proofing to do!
So, those are some of the things I missed posting about this month! I can’t wait to see what March brings us! Maybe Carter will start crawling or say his first word? (we are working on trying to get him to say Mama, Dada and hey) Maybe we will find something even more awesome at the flea market? Can’t wait to find out!
