We just got back from our vacation to the Dominican Republic, which was super relaxing! We went to Punta Cana, which is one of the big beach resort areas and we stayed at the Iberostar resort. We spent most of the trip relaxing on the beach or by the pool in a cabana and drinking Bahama Mama’s!
The resort was all inclusive and super nice and they had enough cabanas and chairs for everyone! However, if you wanted to grab a prime view you had to go down early to reserve your spot before breakfast.
Monkey! They were trying to sell you pictures of you holding the monkey but I really just wanted to hold it anyways and got my husband to take a picture of me on his phone! It smelled like a farm and dog food!
This was the beautiful view on the island of Saona, which they took us to on the snorkeling trip we went on! The island is part of the national park and a nature preserve.

At the resort they had all sorts of activities they try to get you to participate in and one of them was BB gun shooting. Each person got three shots and I hit the target all three times!
Walking down the beach we came up to this row of huts. I thought it was pretty cool to look at since they are all different colors but really you should just stay away. Unless you really really need some souvenirs! The guys are really pushy trying to sell you stuff even after you say no and try to walk away they will keep trying!
Basically our vacation was just all about relaxation! And with a beach view like this I can’t think of a better place to relax!
