Another hit in my series of homemade boozy gummy bears- Espresso Martini gummy bears! If you love coffee or espresso martinis, then these gummy bears are for you! These would be awesome for a holiday party, girls night or birthday for your coffee lover. Enjoy this popular indulgent drink in a bite sized form.

How cute are these little guys? I will say, its hard to take pictures of the gummy bears this close up! A great way to serve these would be to use two ounce disposable martini cups.
Remember, even though you are cooking these the alcohol is still there, so be sure to keep track of your serving sizes! According to the Food Network, it takes about 15 minutes of cooking to reduce the alcohol in a recipe to 40%. This mixture is only cooked for a few minutes, just until it’s hot enough for the gelatin to dissolve, so you will still have a large percentage of alcohol there.

How to make Espresso Martini Boozy Gummy Bears
These gummy bears are the perfect combination of fresh espresso and sweet alcohols! I based my recipe off the commonly found espresso martini recipe.
- For the alcohol: I used a combination of Kahlua and whipped cream vodka and I think it worked perfectly. If you only have regular vodka that would work just fine. If you really love coffee, you could also try using a coffee or espresso flavored vodka such as Veil or Van Gogh!
- For the coffee: I used my espresso machine and made a double shot of espresso for this recipe. Any brand will do, just use what you have! You could also buy pre-made bottled espresso to use.
- To make it a gummy: I used two packets of knox gelatin to make these gummies. You can use any brand gelatin. This is about the same as five teaspoons of gelatin powder.
Tips for making homemade gummy bears
Remember whenever you’re using gelatin powder you need to let the gelatin bloom over the liquid mixture before heating and stirring. Be sure to spread the powder out evenly over the liquid so as much of the gelatin as possible is getting wet. If you watch closely, you can see the gelatin powder absorbing the liquid! Don’t skip this step, or you will have lumps of gelatin in your gummies, or they might not gel at all.

This recipe makes about 50 gummy bears. It is easy to double, triple or more depending on how many gummy bears you want to make! As an Amazon Associate and member of other affiliate programs, I earn from qualifying purchases.
