Welcome back to Mini Chef Mondays! This week we made an easy recipe that’s a fun snack for Valentine’s Day, or any day! Even better, you only need one ingredient to make this snack, plus sprinkles for decoration if you want.
Lay out a sheet of parchment paper as your work surface. Place it on a tray that fits in your freezer for easy transfer. Add strawberry yogurt to a squeeze bottle or in a baggie with the corner cut off. Then, just draw hearts with the yogurt! I drew the first line as an example and then helped Carter draw the rest. He also wanted to make some “funny” shaped ones, which were just lines and circles, but hey whatever works!
Decorate the hearts with sprinkles for a special treat! You can use Valentine colored ones or mixed. You could also use different toppings such as granola or even mini chocolate chips! Transfer to freezer and let it freeze solid, at least four hours. To serve, peel the hearts off and eat immediately. (they will start to melt at room temperature!)
Enjoy with your Valentine!
