Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and while traditional gifts like chocolates and roses will always hold a special place in our hearts, I came up with another fun way to celebrate this season of love—conversation heart-shaped boozy gummies. Combining the playful charm of gummy candies with the adult indulgence of alcohol, these sweet treats offer a fun and flavorful way to elevate your Valentine’s Day celebration.

Heart boozy gummies are exactly what they sound like: gummy candies infused with alcohol, crafted in cute heart shapes to symbolize love and affection. The result is a delightful fusion of sweet and tangy with just the right amount of alcohol, creating the perfect indulgence for adults looking to add a twist to your Valentine’s Day festivities.

These heart-shaped gummies make a fantastic gift for that special someone in your life. Whether you’re surprising a partner, giving a unique present to a best friend, or adding a little fun to a Galentine’s celebration, heart boozy gummies are a playful and unexpected treat. Their adorable design and fun flavor profiles make them a great alternative to traditional sweets, adding a personalized touch to your Valentine’s celebrations!

How to make Conversation Heart Boozy Gummies
- For the shape: For these gummies you will need conversation heart candy/chocolate molds. I bought mine at the craft store and there are plenty of similar options on amazon! Here is a two pack that is very similar to the ones I used. (affiliate link) Each 3 ounce box of gelatin dessert mix (jello) makes about two trays of gummies.
- For the flavors: I used a box of strawberry jello for the red. For the pink I used a box of pink starburst gelatin dessert. They were both delicious, but I do think the pink has the slight edge for flavor! You could also use various colors and mix them together on your serving plate to look more like the candies.
- For the alcohol: I used whipped cream flavor vodka for my gummies, which is my go-to flavor for my basic shot recipes. Of course, you can also use plain vodka or another fruity flavor you have on hand! Vanilla or strawberry would be great.

How to customize your conversation heart boozy gummies
Just like my Conversation Heart Jello Shots, these boozy gummies are so easy to customize! If you use a heart mold that already has the words you can just trace them with a food safe marker. I used a red marker for the pink gummies and black on the red gummies. If you get a mold that just has plain hearts you can use your marker to write your own message! Maybe your partners name, insides jokes or even a more suggestive message. Or keep it light and funny for a party. The only limit is your imagination and the tiny space available on the hearts!
Conversation Heart Boozy Gummies
Ingredients
- 3 ounce box red or pink jello (or your choice)
- 1 packet of knox gelatin
- 1/2 cup vodka
Equipment
- conversation heart candy molds
- food safe liquid dropper
- Food safe marker
Instructions
- Mix jello and gelatin powders together in a small saucepan.
- Add vodka and stir well to combine. Turn on heat to low and heat mixture up to just before boiling. Stir often to combine mixture and so it doesn't burn or boil over.
- Remove from heat. Use dropper to squeeze gummy mixture into candy molds.
- Transfer to fridge to set - at least a few hours. Once gummies are set, remove from molds. Use food safe marker to write messages on your hearts!
- Serve and enjoy! You can keep these in the fridge in an airtight container for about a week.
Notes
(Double the recipe for 6 ounce box of jello.)
This recipe makes about 2 trays of gummies. If you only have one tray, set aside the unused mixture and then fill the tray again once the first round is set. You may have to reheat the mixture a little if it has set in the pan while it cools.
